Sky takes over the rights to the Champions League in Italy until 2024. The chain takes a step forward in its sports offering by acquiring most of the matches of UEFA club competitions over the next three seasons.

Through a statement, the company reports that “ has acquired the audiovisual rights to broadcast 121 of the 137 Champions League games per season for the triennium from 2021 to 2024 “. Sky has also captured 282 Europa League and Europa Conference League games per season in the same period.

In this way, will offer a total of 403 matches from those three tournaments during the 2021-2022, 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 seasons , including the finals, broadcasting the matches on Sky and Now TV.

“We are extremely satisfied with the result achieved,” says Marzio Perrelli, Sky’s executive vice president of sports, “as our subscribers will be able to continue experiencing the challenges of the best European teams for the next three years.”

Sky will not be the only station that broadcasts the Champions League from next season, since Amazon acquired the rights to 16 matches of the competition until 2024 , as it has also done in Germany for the same number of matches .
