Lady Gaga’s halftime at the Super Bowl
The Simpsons predicted the performance of Lady Gaga in the middle of the Super Bowl. It all happened in the episode “Lisa Goes Gaga”, where the interpreter of ‘Alejandro’ is shown suspended by cables that fly over the audience in a concert.
And to the surprise of locals and strangers, in 2017 Lady Gaga appeared in the sports show, she did appear suspended by an armés, while the audience watched her from below. Not only that, but the ‘Poker Face’ singer also wore the same outfit as Lisa in the aforementioned episode.
The series predicted the 2020 winner
The fans of the series assured that in the episode titled “Sunday, Cruddy Sunday”The teams that faced each other in the final of the sporting event in its 2020 edition were predicted. The episode was broadcast on January 31, 1999 and it was shown the Super Bowl, held in Miami, where the team with the red and white uniform, the identifying colors of the San Francisco 49ers, triumphed.
Lisa’s predictions
Fans of the series assure that in three years in a row The Simpson predicted the winner of the sporting event; from 1992 to 1994.
It all started with the episode ‘Lisa the Greek‘, where Lisa discovers a way to predict who will win the games within the NFL. In the plot, Homer’s daughter predicts that it will be the Washington Redskins who will prevail against the Bufallo Bills. Three days after the episode was issued, the prediction would come true when Washington beat the Bills 37-24.
