The Toyota GR10 Hybrid has a 3.5 V6 Turbo gasoline engine that offers 680 horsepower, to which is added a 280 horsepower electric motor, although by regulation it can only offer 680 maximum horsepower, so that the electronic management of Both thrusters are responsible for keeping power within these limits.
Not only is it therefore less powerful than the LMP1, the TS050 used last year, which could deliver 1,000 horsepower on time – the reduction in power is 32% – but it is also more than 168 kilos. heavier.
